This website is a resource for anyone with food allergies, dietary restrictions, or alternative diets, or for caretakers of those people. Developed primarily for people in the Ann Arbor community, this resource will nevertheless be useful for anyone interested in dietary restrictions. It will be especially useful for parents of children with diabetes or lactose-intolerance, for example, for teachers or school administrators who are concerned about their students, or for healthcare professionals. It will also be useful for those newly diagnosed who may be feeling uncertain or fearful about having to adapt to a new diet, or for those starting out on a new, alternative dietary path and want to make sure they're getting adequate nutrition. This pathfinder was constructed with the hope of helping those with special dietary needs to lead healthier, happier lives, despite having some restrictions.
